Después de su desintegración de Aventura, Romeo Santos se lanzó como solista en el 2011. Aunque la desintegración entristeció a fans, Romeo Santos ahora gira promocionando su álbum Fórmula vol. 2 que estrenó el 28 de enero del año pasado. Su gira Formula vol. 2 world tour ha llegado hasta nosotros en Denver al Pepsi Center este 14 de junio. El álbum consiste de 16 canciones que como siempre lo hipnotizan a uno con su bella voz y su letra y sonido inolvidable. El cantautor nos enamora de él y la vida con su romanticismo que recuerda todos los aspectos del amor.
En su reciente álbum Romeo hace colaboraciones con artistas fuera de la música latina y bachata. Las colaboraciones incluyen a Carlos Santana, Drake, Marc Anthony, y a Nicki Minaj. Su colaboración con Drake y Nicki Minaj no solo la canta en inglés, pero ambos también cantan en español. La introducción colabora hasta el comediante Kevin Hart demostrando su extendimiento hasta la música en inglés. Romeo Santos no nos deja solo enamorados de su bella voz, también nos cautiva con su música que captura todos los diferentes aspectos del amor. En la canción titulada “Odio” con Drake captura el odio que le tiene a otro cuando pierde a la persona que quiere y se va con otro. Pero igual con la canción Necio nos recuerda como uno es irracional cuando se enamora. Lo más memorable es su mensaje de amar a otros aunque sean homosexuales, un problema social devatado abundante en nuestras comunidades. La canción No tiene la culpa habla de como la homosexualidad no es opción y no deberíamos de juzgar. En la canción dice estatisticas de suicidio por homosexuales por no sentirse aceptados.
