Considerado “una de las 100 personas mas influyentes” por la revista TIME y “una de las estrellas de rock mas grandes del mundo” por la revista Rolling Stone, el cántate de rock n’ roll Juanes nos mesmerizó con otro álbum dedicado al amor como el titulo insinúa.
Juanes incorpora el amor con su estilo de rock n’ roll que todos conocemos y nos encanta de el. Como el lo describió en su entrevista con Billboard Track by Track, Loco de Amor “es como poner un rayo de amor por un prisma es todos los diferentes enfoques que el amor tiene entre relaciones.” El álbum comienza con la canción titulada “Mil Pedazos” donde da referencia a su corazón roto. Menciona una navaja y como el filo le corta el alma, continua a decir que el es mil pedazos de un amor. La canción tiene la tradicional guitarra de Juanes pero también tiene el ritmo parecido al latido de un corazón dominando todo el tema.
La segunda canción “Loco de Amor” tiene un ritmo mas alegre. Con este, uno se puede levantar a bailar mientras canta de cuando uno esta enamorado, loco de amor y obsesionado como dice Juanes. En otros temas sigue un ritmo alegre como en la canción “La Luz” la mas bajada del álbum en iTunes. “Laberinto” es el tema que mas impresiona de todo el álbum, el tono mueve mientras que la letra sigue el romanticismo de el amor. El otro aspecto que toma el álbum es un tono mas serio con la canción “Persiguiendo el Sol” donde habla de su historia personal de seguir su sueño, irse de casa e ir por la vida aprendiendo su camino. Loco De Amor con su ritmo, tono, y letra alegre hace que uno ponga el álbum en repetir todo el día mientras canta y baile sin parar.

Juanes incorporates love with his style of rock n’ roll that we all know and love him for.
As described in his interview with Billboard Track by Track, Loco de Amor “it’s like putting a ray of love through a prism so its all the different approaches that love is in relationships.” The album begins with the song titled “Mil Pedazos” where he refers to his heart that has broken. He mentions a blade and how the edge cuts his soul into a thousand pieces, but he continues by saying that he is a thousand pieces of love. The song features the traditional guitar of Juanes, but also has a drum pattern that sounds like a beating heart which dominates the song.
The second song “Loco de Amor” has a more upbeat rhythm which you can get up and dance to while singing of when you are “madly in love and obsessed” as Juanes says. On the other songs he follows the upbeat rhythm with the song “La Luz” which is the most downloaded song of the album on iTunes. “Laberinto” is the song that impressed me the most on the album. The tone moves you more, lyrically it follows the romance of love. The other aspect on the album is a more serious tone like the song “Persiguiendo el Sol” where he talks about his personal decision to follow his dream and leave his home and go through life learning his way. Loco de Amor with its rhythm, tone, and cheerful lyrics make you put the album on repeat all day while singing and dancing non stop.
