The Greeley Block Party Unveils its Lineup for FREE Upcoming Music Festival

by Landon Ungerman

School is back in session and summer’s end is around the corner, which means it’s time for Greeley’s biggest, most diverse music festival of the year! This morning, BandWagon Presents unveiled the lineup for The Block Party, a Colorado Music Festival set to go down this Friday, September 8th, in Downtown Greeley. Continue reading for the full schedule, festival info and more.

The Artist Lineup

The artists selected for this year’s Block Party represent an array of genres, from funk-soul to dance-hop, there’s a stage and set for music lovers of all kinds.

About the Artists

The Burroughs: From humble beginnings covering soul standards in their unlikely hometown of Greeley, Colorado, The Burroughs have traversed a decade of growth and reinvention to become a band that defies odds and transcends categorization. Since 2013, the 9-piece act has lit up stages around the country with their trademark brand of “sweaty soul music.”

NOT A TOY: NOT A TOY is not a band. It is a collective of four creatives, Branson Hoog [lead vocals], Jeremy Marmor [guitar], Benji Spoliansky [drums], and TJ Wessel [violin, keys]. NOT A TOY does not fit into a genre. Rather, the quartet crafts whatever it wants and goes where the music takes them.

Danno Simpson: The soul and raw emotion in Danno Simpson’s sweet, Western sound is like no other. A sound born in Texas and crafted further in the high-plain’s of Colorado will make a crowd sway, swing, and maybe even shed a tear.

Bay Ledges: Bay Ledges’ beachy alt-pop songs merge folky guitar with glitchy bedroom electronic production. Bay Ledges first went viral with 2016’s “Safe,” then issued a series of EPs before making their full-length debut with the bright and beachy Ritual in 2022.

Mishegas: Mishegas is the electronic music project of Emilio Quezada Ibañez, the Mexico-born and New York City-based artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist with a range of sonic styles as diverse as his own upbringing and interests.

COLLUR: COLLUR, an emerging artist hailing from Denver seamlessly blends rap, spatial dance sounds, and captivating pop melodies. With an impressive repertoire that includes a mixtape, an EP, and a collection of compelling singles, COLLUR is now poised to unleash his next wave of music, incorporating elements from New York’s drill scene to neo-soul rap.
