When it comes to writing and recording modern dance music in Colorado, OptycNerd are in a class of their own. “Realistic” is the latest (and some could say greatest) release from this Denver duo, once again blending their love of electronic music with hip hop and pop.
Made up of Chris Kimmel and Chris Scott (lovingly known as the Chrises in the Denver scene), the two have an undeniable chemistry. Kimmel as a vocalist and musician, and Scott as a producer with a real talent for bringing vocals to life in new and interesting ways, something with which so many local artists struggle.
