Greeley’s Block Party lit up downtown last Friday night, with local music filling the air as the second-to-last Friday Fest of the summer came to life. With performances spread across seven venues, the night was a true celebration of community and live music.
Ely Corliss, the event organizer, has been connecting the Block Party to Friday Fest for over a decade, aligning the event together with local residents and music lovers alike each year. The night saw a diverse lineup of bands, highlighting the city’s rich local music scene.
Performances kicked off at 6 p.m. and continued through the evening, with the Moxi Theater, TightKnit Brewing, Patrick’s Irish Pub, and several other downtown hotspots hosting acts. Standouts included Grady Spencer & the Work, Holdfast, and Draghoria, with Tyler Halverson’s late performance at the Moxi keeping the energy high until the night’s end.
