After more than 100 applications and four preliminary rounds of intense competition, Underseer, The Stephen Lear Band, Cami Maree and The White Moms went head-to-head in the final round of the 2023 BandWagon Magazine Battle of the Bands. The stakes? A whopping 5,000 dollars and the cover of BandWagon Magazine. It all went down on December 15th, 2023 at the Moxi Theater in Greeley, Colorado. Four unforgettable sets later, Ely Corliss, Publisher of BandWagon Magazine and the founder of the Moxi Theater, named Underseer as this year’s Battle of The Bands champion before presenting them with the grand prize, a $5,000 sum slapped on an oversized check.
