Review: “Jack’s House Part 2”

by Audra Peister

Just off the corner of Laurel and College, at 109 East Laurel Street, there is a little place called TI Bar. Although seemingly tucked out of the way, TI Bar plays host to some of the most talented DJs in Northern Colorado and Jack’s House Part 2, on Tuesday, September 4th, was no exception. All night long, Deejay Gyro was playing funky house music for the small crowd of music lovers who came out for free admission and drink specials. Deejay Gyro shared the stage with DJ Nick G to keep the crowd moving all night.

Both DJs put on a fantastic show and played to the people, making for a wonderful night out for both college students and party people alike. Deejay Gyro drew the crowd’s accolades as the headlining DJ of the night and wowed them with his experience. With over ten years of experience as a DJ, Gyro has played clubs such as Oasis in Fort Collins and The Church in Denver. He reads the crowd and chooses his music and style accordingly. Tuesday night, Deejay Gyro’s house music was a crowd pleaser and had many people out of their seats and on the dance floor for hours.

Overall, Jack’s House Part 2 was a rousing success for TI Bar and exhibited the talents of two incredibly talented DJs. TI Bar regularly hosts DJed events such as Jack’s House and provides a wonderful place to get out of the house and do something different on a weeknight. With free admission, drink specials, and great music, TI Bar continues to be one of the best kept party places in Fort Collins, perfect for locals and out-of-towners alike.
